Matthew Wirdnam

Matt is a Master’s researcher at The Australian Ballet and is currently working as a clinician in private practice and in football at South Melbourne FC. Matt’s research focusses on the impact that mental fatigue has on learning, injury and performance. Prior to completing his Masters, he worked alongside Dr. Ebonie Rio and Professor Jill Cook at The La Trobe University Sports and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. Matt has extensive clinical experience managing foot and ankle injuries in elite sporting populations including dance, men’s and women’s football and track & field athletes.
