Karina Simone is a Physical Therapist from Brazil, with a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is Specialist in Aging and Health Education.
In clinical practice, she has 20 years of experience in rehabilitation services dedicated to improve health and wellbeing of adults and old people with musculoskeletal disorders. In scientific researching, her expertise fields include Aging, Obesity, Pain and Knee Osteoarthritis.
Her project Science & Movement brings together her two passions: the Scientific Knowledge and the practice of Physical Therapy. This project aims to develop the clinical reasoning and critical thinking of Health Students and Professionals to achieve better levels of autonomy and problem-solving in clinical and academic settings.
