Dr Melinda Smith

Researcher, PhD

Dr Melinda (Franettovich) Smith is a physiotherapist with a special interest in foot and ankle health, pain and injury. She is a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland and continues her clinical experience at Clem Jones Centre Physio and Rehab. She completed her PhD at The Australian Institute of Sport and has taught across several university programs. Her research spans sports and running related injuries, taping and foot orthoses, gait training and musculoskeletal imaging.
