Dr Matthew Bourne

Dr Matthew Bourne is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work and the Menzies Health Institute Queensland at Griffith University. Matthew obtained his PhD in hamstring injury prevention from QUT. His overarching research mission is to conduct world-class, multidisciplinary research in sport and exercise medicine, which has direct implications for improving clinical practice. He is primarily interested in the application of targeted exercise to prevent injury and enhance performance, particularly in the area of hamstring injuries.
