Kathryn is a highly regarded Chartered Physiotherapist, Researcher and Educator from Ireland, currently working in Aspetar’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation Department, Doha. She holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with a focus on Rotator Cuff Pathology, ensuring a Patient-Centred approach to Rehabilitation. She spearheaded the design of the CALMeR Cuff Pathway – an evidence-based stepwise approach to managing large to massive rotator cuff tears developed in partnership with patients, clinicians, and researchers to optimise treatment decisions and outcomes. Kathryn is the Clinical Director of Elite Performance Physiotherapy and brings extensive clinical experience, gained through her work with Olympic and International athletes, as well as Irish Team physiotherapist at UEFA, FINA and World University Games competitions.
