BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE

Clinical practice guidelines, systematic review evidence and expert opinion support the use of taping for short-term management of plantar heel pain (1,2). In the clinical setting there are many factors that may influence utility of and adherence to taping interventions including perceived comfort and mobility/restriction, but these are rarely reported in research studies.

The aim of this study was to compare the short-term effects of kinesiotape and low-Dye tape on pain and comfort in individuals with plantar fasciitis.
