BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE
Falls are a significant public health concern that impacts one in four older adults (1). To prevent falls or subsequent falls it is recommended that older adults perform regular physical activity and prescribed exercise interventions (1). In addition to preventing falls or subsequent falls, physical activity also has significant benefits for general health and well-being. However, it is unclear how different intensities (light, moderate, or vigorous) impact mortality following falls injury.
The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between physical activity intensity and all-cause mortality after older adults’ experience fall injury.

Adherence to physical activity and exercise programs are significantly impacted by self-efficacy and therefore, it is important to ask the patient about their confidence in completing the exercises or physical activity prescribed.
